Hello, I’m not a frequent user of Advance Steel software; in fact, I only recently discovered it and was fascinated by its modeling possibilities. My question is basically this: I have a very large point cloud of a shopping center, and in this post I’ll show some screenshots of the type of structure I’m talking about.
My main objective would be to import the point cloud into Advance Steel, model the structures I want (including information in the BIM model), and export it to Revit to complement my main model.
I could create this type of structure using extrusions, modeling manually… But Advance Steel seems like a better solution, but it’s something very specific and localized, and I need help from experienced people to guide me on the subject.
