I have a sheet metal press problem

I have a problem with the development of an oval ferrule on a circular ferrule.

The developed state of the part is unlikely, it cannot end in a point at the axes.

We should get a curve.

Unfolded circular sheet metal sheets require a flat.

Otherwise, I quote @Bart:

"Logopress is a software that is an addition to Solidworks.

It allows for unfolding complex shapes, as well as bending.

There is a test version to request from the dealer.

Here is the site: http://www.logopress3.com/fr/"

A sreen of the room would have been more judicious we don't all have the same version of the log or even the same log

so it's not easy to give you + info

What version of solid do you have

on SW 2015 we are now able to unfold a shape with 2 perpendicular curves among others

Yes, a picture would be good.

For those in another version, and those who don't have time to visualize the part =)

It is an oval tube, cut straight on one side and prepared to dock on a round tube on the other.

Comrades @gt22 and @Bart, to view SW files of future versions, I always have the latest version of eDrawing on my computer. It allows me to at least be able to visualize them, even if I can't use them!! :)

Edit with image ;)

with the def @ Benoit

You can change the offset of your stitching and the angle of it

as well as the sections of the 2 tubes

It is also possible to change the geometry of the sections

and have the unfolded of each tube

for example of feasibility, see SW 2012 attachment

Well then @Gerald, don't you know that? ;)

At the top of your graphics window. Or by pressing the SPACE bar.
