As part of a technological analysis of a heavy goods vehicle transmission, I seek to identify an element on an assembly drawing.
This element makes it possible to " hold in position" of several parts and to carry out the preload required for the installation of tapered roller bearings. Here it is an "O" montage. See attached:
Do you know the name of this element? ( For me it's not a traditional notched nut, maybe a nut and a notched counter nut ?? The S shape of the notched washer disturbs me :)
