For what type of calculation?

Hello

 

For simple calculations, I was recommended this same software from the IUT of Le Mans.

I haven't used it much but it looks pretty complete to me.

Yes indeed, at school we had RDM Le Mans which worked well. (used with Pro-E Wildfire 3)

And if I remember correctly, it is quite easy to use.

RDM 6, easy to use and complete enough for small calculations

RDM 6 is a very complete and fairly easy to use software.

The designer being my former teacher, I was able to use the software on several different simple cases (beam, chassis ...), including on parts from 3D design.

 

If necessary, I advise you to read the few documents available on their website.

If you are equipped with solidworks and the simulation is to be done only on a part, you can do it with simulationXpress

RDM 6 is the easiest software to do complex calculations
