I can't open . DWG

Hello 

My client sent me . DWG, I asked him to save them in 2016 or earlier because I am on Solidworks 2016 

I have an error ( Dxf/DWG input file ...  )

so maybe there is a trick to open them if you can help me please

Edit: I think the file was in 2018 version

One thing is for sure is that I was able to open it! It's 2018!

The client sends me back the plan save under 2013 it works, thank you all
