I can no longer access the MyCADTools tools: message "The tool protection tool is not found (Signing error)?

... okay, thank you Mick.Cordero.

But for those who don't want (or can't) migrate to the new MyCad Update? Is there a patch planned?

Kind regards.

Flawless! Thank you

Hello

Since this weekend, there is indeed a problem on the 2020 and 2021 versions of myCADtools, related to an end of certificate (signatures of our dlls and exe)

This generates an error and a message related to registration.

This morning, we released a new version that fixes this issue.

Here is the latest official version that fixes this 2021 sp1.3 issue

Automatic procedure:

Download and install the latest version of myCADtools.

Manual procedure:

Installing patches for those who don't want to migrate or reinstall myCADtools

  1. Downloading the patch

  1. Closing SOLIDWORKS and the myCADpassport tool:

  1. Warning : In all cases, unlock protection on downloaded files:

  1. Replace the file in the Windows folder:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Visiativ\Shared (%CommonProgramFiles%\Visiativ\Shared)

We apologize for this issue.

Kind regards

Hello;

I have an issue with the 2020 patch: MycadTools add-ins won't start in Solidworks (2020)...

It's okay it also works with us after the update

Hello @Maclane,

For people who have chosen to retrieve DLLs (Patch without setup)

Be sure to check if they are not blocked after downloading.

Right button, properties on the dll.

Kind regards

Pfff;

Thank you JM ( jmsavoyat) it's much more efficient like this.

Coralie, it would be wise to mention this operation in your procedure.

Kind regards.

Hello

I'm having an issue with Patch 2020. I did copy and unblock the .DLL in the "Shared" folder but it still doesn't work.

A little clarification as well:

  • - The path to paste this patch is not: %CommonProgramFiles%\Visiativ\Shared but %Program Files%\Visiativ\myCADtools 2020\Shared
  • - The "Shared" folder did not contain a .DLL while the procedure specifies to "replace" the .DLL

Having done the live operation with the hotline early this morning and then reproduced on 10-15 stations for Mycadtools 2020 it's good in:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Visiativ\Shared

which corresponds to:

 %CommonProgramFiles%\Visiativ\Shared

If you don't replace the file it may be that you are not in the right place, if you have installed several versions of Mycadtools for example.

For @Acopin;

jmsavoyat solved my problem via the "Unlock" in the properties of the new . Dll (See previous footnote(5)).

I confirm the location: %CommonProgramFiles%\Visiativ\Shared

Thank you all for your answers. I was indeed not in the right Visiativ case to stick the .DLL

It works properly now.
