I can't find my mechanically welded elements anymore

Hello, when I installed on solidworks 2018, my training supervisor installed a profile library for mechanically welded construction. While cleaning up my pc I probably had to move this library because I no longer have access to it. When I selected "standard" above "type", I had the name of the file of my library that appeared and I could thus scroll down in "type" all my profiles. But unfortunately, I only have the two default standards left, HHHHEEELLP!!    I still have this library on a USB key. Thanks in advance

Look in the last option path/file location, you will see where to put them.

Hello

Try to do a Solidworks repair.

Hello;

Beware of the arbroresence on the libraries of the mechanically welded:

If the profiles are not in the form of configurations: 3 directories including the basic library.

Example: Bibliotheque_mecanosoudé/Profils_Acier/profils_U/(your files)

If the profiles  are in the form of configurations (family of parts): 2 directories including the basic library.

Example: Bibliotheque_mecanosoudé/Profils_Acier/(your files)

Kind regards.

Thank you ,  I found the solution. I had put in disorder in my arbroresence as Maclane pointed out.

Thank you!! and to the next problem.

OK

See this tutorial for the record:

It provides a better understanding of the path of profile folders/files
