Hello, what if instead of directly constraining your stroke you constrain two points so that they are in the collinearity you want and then you constrain your stroke in relation to these points?
I know that Solidworks is really weird sometimes... You have to try several methods without asking too many questions to get your result.
Question and why you multiply your lines, one is enough and nothing prevents you from sideways, each part of your tubes in linear, your sideline will look for its ref in the right place, which will minimize your constraints and lines that are useless and it is not all beneficial for your log, fewer constraints so more fluid
Why not create a configuration of your part or assembly with your overlengths, and then with the "View from another position" tool makes your two overlapping configurations appear (in hidden lines) in your drawing.
From MEP: MEnu Insertion/Drawing Views/View from Another Position.
I invite you to look at the solidworks help on this function for more information.
