Lip gasket in sheet metal assembly

Hi all
Small questions, I make sheet metal bodies, and I put lip seals on the fields, I would like to integrate them into my solidworks assembly how to do it?
Because I don't want to create different parts for each joint length every time.

We do this with the mechanical-welding function.
This makes it possible to:

  1. Making shapes from a profile
  2. Calculate Length
  3. Have a reference to the meter for the bill of materials

Here's an example:

This allows you to build a profile library of your joints. You can then change it in two clicks. :wink:

To use it as a mechanically welded profile and have access to the functions of this module, you will have to save the sketch in sldflp (it seems to me)
