Hello

Is it in the 3d environment? What happens if you press the spacebar?

A radical solution:

Reset the settings!

A priori if it doesn't appear it's because it's off the screen.

You can reset the position of toolbars in SOLIDWORKS by renaming the registry key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\solidworks\Solidworks 201x\user interface

A trick that sometimes works on other software:

Go to the Windows desktop, Right button and do Screen Resolution and in the window that opens, change your resolution; Sometimes it allows you to see missing windows again.

Hello, Thank you Alain the trick works by switching the screen to portrait, on the spot Lucas Prieur you have too much of a computer reflex: "it doesn't work we reinstall":-)  Thank you for all the other answers, alain you saved me half a day of parramétrage.

Normally it is a window that appears at the position of the mouse cursor when you press the space bar (the keyboard shortcut).

If you go through the menu, it appears at the last coordinates used, sometimes outside the screen.

In the case where you use the dual screen, some bugs make context menus or windows appear on the wrong screen or even no longer make the drop-down menu appear (usually if the main screen, the one with the windows taskbar, is the screen that is physically on the right... we must not try to understand). Resetting the main screen to the left and switching SolidWorks to the main screen resolves the problem. You can also temporarily disable the functions specific to the dual screen, this should reset the positions of the windows.

Last possibility, to complete Franck's information, you have to rename or change the values of the variable "uiNamedViewDlg_c" present in [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Solidworks\SolidWorks 2014\User Interface\Dialogs] (obviously replace "SolidWorks 2014" with the correct version of solidworks). The value 0,1,0,0,-1,-1,0,0,167,205 should reset the window to the top left of the screen with a standard size. Sometimes it is also necessary to modify the one in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

Hello, I guess the solution has been found since time, but the method of setting the screen works in most cases. for those who will encounter the problem and who will read this question
