Launch of SolidWorks and Toolbox

Hello

The error message, as an attachment, is displayed when launching Solidworks and then I do not have access to the ToolBox database: message "Could not load resource dll for Toolbox").

Thank you.

Kind regards.

Hello

the message only says that a DLL is missing (which is a small piece of program in general)

From the wording it seems to be a loading program.

You need to put the DLL attached to the path and the folder indicated in the error message

Here is the DLL in question hoping that it is the only one you are missing.

Kind regards

Hello

Hmm, not sure if it's all compatible!!

Which version of Solidworks?

Which version of Windows?

If your DLL is in place in the folder given by the message, you may need to re-register it in the Windows registry, see the Windows command "regsvr32" for that, see here.

Kind regards

You're right D.roger for SW's version (OOuupsss I should have said it) because we don't know when SW modifies a DLL or not.

On the other hand , the application DLLs are in principle independent of the version of vindoze, only 32 or 64 bits is important. If layer 7 of the iso depended on layer 3, computer programs would not have worked for a long time. ;-)

The question about the version of Windows is just because some versions are more capricious than others and/or more or less stable, which can sometimes explain some malfunctions.
