I have a problem on a new PC, although I have solidworks and office installed, the smart bom doesn't want to do the excel export (while the TXT export works), and moreover when I clicked on a report function I got a message that office was not installed.
How can we check or put back the office / solidworks link?
FYI I've already done a repair without success, and I have win10/ sw2016/office 2010.

Which version of office do you have? 32 or 64 bits?
SW only likes the 32-bit version of office unless I'm mistaken.

Tried to reinstall the Office Pack because if it was pre-installed it probably lacks declarations that make Solidworks not find it
I just checked it's a 32bits version and it wasn't pre-installed, on the other hand it was installed before solidworks.
For the reinstallation it doesn't suit me too much, I'll do it at the end of the week if I don't have better.
Hello, I had been told once that the next one who is installed before what, could make a mess because links were not made.
But sorry I don't remember in what order I was told to do it....
Pc replaced so no more problem, but no idea what happened on the old one.
