Now I understand the rant and I agree with you => it complicates your use a lot.

@Pascal: Are you a reseller? or just a mega fan of Bernard Charlès^^

neither one nor the other (who is Bernard Charlès?). I'm just a SW user who didn't understand ;)

On the other hand, you talk about American law, but it seems to me that Dassault Système is a French company

This is a piece of information I had two or three years ago:

American law requires publishers to offer a possible home use, Dassault had to comply and this possibility was therefore available in other countries.

Quick question@Bart, is your laptop equipment from your company or your character?

If it's the one in your company, why not work on it on a daily basis and have a large screen, a real keyboard, a real mouse and a station/charger at your desk, which  is more ergonomic than directly on the laptop. In the morning you put your mobile phone on its station and no more license problems! No?

@Pascal, very interesting all this information!

Bernard Charlès: Director of Dassault Systèmes.

Originally, when I arrived, I was bought a permanent position to be able to work.

After a year, I wanted to work at home, and so they bought me a laptop, so I wasn't going to throw away the landline lol.

Hence my license problem....

And the idea of using only your laptop and having peripheral elements (large screen, keyboard, mouse,...) at work? This is how only one device, transportable in the evening, ergonomic during the day!

Yes Benoit, but I'm not going to tell my boss, all in all, the landline is no longer useful, and the laptop will replace it...

The laptop is partly mine, (small arrangement with my box) so this technique won't fit.

My boss already uses this, but hey, his cell phone won't last long. I don't think it's designed for that.

Even very powerful, laptops are inferior to workstations

I looked to go to the mobile station but I can't find with satisfactory characteristics

Quite addicted, a landline remains a landline and a laptop a laptop^^

each station its use.

Otherwise, we'd all be working on laptops. Logic.

Personally, I went for a Zbook17 which seems quite satisfactory in terms of power
