Link between part properties and automatic BOM cell

Hello

On a colleague's Solidworks workstation, he can change the properties of a part from a cell in the automatic BOM and vice versa, fill in the cells of the automatic BOM by filling in the properties in the part file.

When he clicks on the automatic BOM cell, a table opens asking him if he wants to break the link or keep the link (see the attached screenshot. The 2 examples are independent.)

In my position, he doesn't ask me that and I can't get a connection. Do you know if there is an option to activate or others?

a solution you can ask your colleague to make a backup of his settings; Reload them  so that you will have the same configuration as him.

I'll try your different solutions tomorrow at work and see if one is the right one.
