The tips are not automatically populated on the description column.
How can it be remedied automatically?

I guess you're talking about the bits offered by the " Welded construction" toolbar of Solidworks (Which version?):
and the fact that no " Weld List Ownership" is automatically associated with them?
- as a " Designation", " Description "... And some dimensional values?
I admit to asking myself these types of questions too, for the gussets too...
I tried with the options outlined below:

But it doesn't work (at least in Solidworks 2022).
So, I fill in this information manually in the properties... it is sometimes long.

Hello and welcome to the forum,
You have to go to the feature manager and go to the list of welded parts.
Right-click on the item with a missing description and press " Properties ".
Add a Description line and enter the desired text (Tip for example).
Once all the descriptions have been entered, close the properties and update the list (right click "list of welded parts").
Go back to the drawing, update if necessary and normally, the descriptions entered will appear.
