Hello
Microsoft project is quite used in companies.
Otherwise, see this link:

With so little information, you can't really help!
For more information we work on solidworks, EPDM, and solidworks composer.
The difficulty for us is to be able to manage the evolution of each participant's projects and to share follow-up documents (today we use Exel or Word documents shared via Dropbox ...
Thank you for this quick answer, I'll look into it!
So in terms of project management and review, there is also Autodesk Navisworks:
http://www.autodesk.fr/products/navisworks/features/all/gallery-view
It's a software that allows you to import CAD models from different software in order to see the right nesting, it's often used in the building industry I think!
What do you want to manage at the project level?
What do you want to do collaboratively?
The difficulty for us is to be able to manage the evolution of each participant's projects and to share follow-up documents (today we use Exel or Word documents shared via Dropbox ...
There is also the question of price, I see that you are using DropBox, are you looking for free software? Or do you use the Pro version?
And when you talk about "the evolution of the project", is there a 3D aspect?
For the moment we are on the free version but the goal is to find a long-term solution that is paid.
and there is no particular need for 3D sharing .
I have already used http://www.timeperformance.com/logiciel-gestion-de-projet
Free trial to get started.
Thanks for testing.
For my part we use google sheet, which thanks to a link allows you to share an excel sheet in permanent recording.
Step 1 gave it the shape we want, then shared the link with each participant and here the project evolves with the different stakeholders regardless of their geographical position.
Thanks to this I follow my projects with my design office based in Russia and my production unit in China.
The negative point, no notification. But as soon as you open the page it is up to date
a simple link in favor in iE and it's very fast

Hello
There is also a system called collabtive... That's what I used with @GT22
I am attaching a document for how it works and here is the link to download and use it:)
http://www.collabtive.com/
I find the application very practical, install on a server and then direct manipulation by a free exploration;) and functional
If you want to do a test, don't hesitate to tell me I can do them on my system:D

Personally we use Redmine but everything will depend on your activity, needs , budget...
You can take a look here, it's quite complete and you can also compare several software with each other according to their features etc...
Nowadays, there are many tools to choose from. But I really enjoy using Fluxes. It's a free web-based team collaboration tool with tons of features that makes it a powerful app for managing daily tasks and teamwork. It allows unlimited use for an unlimited number of team members.
