Logo basemap

Hello

Our logo in our basemaps on A0 is very pixelated, yet the initial logo is not enlarged and on the screen it is not so bad.

Does anyone have a trick to have something clean?

Thank you

On screen has always been wrong, since you are not on a real scale.

If you zoom in on a part of your map in such a way that it corresponds to the actual size, there is a good chance that the pixelation of the logo will be felt.

If this is indeed the only thing to do.... Have a logo of a higher resolution.

Hello

Try to insert your image in word.

To enlarge it as much as possible before it pixelates

and copy/paste it directly onto your background plan

This is a technique that allows you to get rid of the drop in quality that SW makes when you insert an image directly.

Have a nice day

Hello

I have a solution that works almost all the time (against image bugs that also disappear when generating the PDF)

=> Open the logo in paint, select the area concerned and press CTRL+C (leave paint open)
=> Insert => Object => Paintbrush  Image => OK
Windows paint opens, do a CTRL+V to paste the logo previously copied and then close mspaint.

At this point the proportions will not be respected, you have to double right click on the image and press "Adjust the size"
Then you can resize as you wish according to the corners.

At home it works fine, I did it basically because the PDM routine that generates PDFs made the logo disappear on some files.

EDIT: Attached is an image of the quality obtained
Hoping to help!

Good evening

Create your logo image in large so that you have to scale it down to fit into your basemap.

It will logically be of better quality.

Keep us informed! ;)

Thank you for your answers, my logo is already big and I'm reducing it to put it in the cartridge, but yet it pixelates when I print my A0 directly with SW.

On the other hand, if I made a pdf of my drawing, the printing is clean...........

And by changing the type of the image (jpg, png , bmp...)

For the pdf output, you must have put a good resolution on the objects (in: options/export/ pdf format.  or in the options when saving in pdf). So your logo is clean.

But for the printer, I couldn't find this option. Maybe by putting high quality printing, the logo will come out well, but it will cost more to print the plan.

What do you think of sending us your background plan with the logo to see how it comes out to us?
