Solidworks Ambient Light

Hi all

Do you think it would be possible to have ambient light, always at 100% when creating a room?

Instead of changing the value with each assembly / part?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

By modifying it in the template files (prtdot and asmdot)

Hello

To bend to that, I made 2 small macros

one that pushes the ambient light to 100 and the other that resets it to 0.3 (base value)

With 2 dedicated buttons in the bar at the top, the change is done in 1 click

The method, for those who are interested

Hello @pascal,

Are you okay?

I just put your macros back in the configuration of my SW but I realize that they only work on assemblies and not on parts files.

Are you in the same situation?

Thank you in advance and have a good day,

Hello @jordan.mouret.pro

My macros work as much on the assemblies as on the parts on my side

I'm on SW2019 SP5 and W10 workstation

Hi all

I'm digging up the subject a bit, but I've made buttons for these macros so I'm sharing them with you.
