When you assign a light to a part (activated for photoview), how do you make it so visible in the assembly?

 

Hello, I think it's not possible to transfer a light from a part to an assembly. It must be reassigned.

Oh dear then...

By taking any ex: a bulb if it is assigned a light in the part. If it is inserted into an assembly (a building), it must be used again to assign light to the building assembly?

In fact it is not possible directly, but by recording the light:

- in the room you have to savekeep the light in . P2L from the Appearance tab > Light

- import it into the assembly from the same menu.

After that, it can depend on the orientation of the part and the assembly, which will not necessarily have the same XYZ axes...

If you have configured the materials of this said part and therefore it has a state of appearance 

you will find it in your assembly with this said state of appearance 

now if you create a light specific to this room on PV 

I'm not at all convinced that you find exactly the same lighting on your assembly since your assembly will have its own well-defined light if of course you adjust them
