Beginner in VBA language.
I would like to know if it is possible to launch a macro automatically when opening my 3D file.
My manoeuvre:
1/ I created 4 3D files with families of parts specific to each file.
2/ I created an excel file which, according to the values entered, opens one of the 4 families of parts, copies and pastes the values entered to the desired boxes, saves and closes the family of parts. Then opens Solidworks and the part associated with the previously processed part family.
3/ Problem When opening the 3D file, the part family does not automatically reconstruct itself according to my entered values if I do not edit it in solidworks. My idea is to record a macro that edits the family and closes it to update my piece. But I'd like this macro to launch automatically when the 3D file is opened.
I did several searches (Feature manager, events, etc.) but I can't set it up :/
Would anyone be able to help me?
