I would like to design a bar manipulator whose size is less than 1mm diam and the length varies between 50 and 120mm.
In order to allow the imagination, I will not give information on the solutions already realized or envisaged.
The purpose of this manipulator is to make the bar fit into a spindle and then machine it. The spindle has toolings that long changes to FCT of the bar diam range.
To put material in the charger, a small box the size of a cigarette pack is envisaged. You have to load every minute and it must be as fast as possible to avoid downtime.
We have already encountered problems with bar jamming in the area that supplies the manipulator.
