I run draftsight on mac (8G0 mac RAM)

and the memory is not well managed, Draft Sight accumulates its need until the computer crashes

other prog like rhino in 3D with the same file handles all its memory well ...

I tried with a building plan and no worries in modifying tracing etc....

Wouldn't it be the iMac series with problems?

Too strong the after-sales service: do you need an iMac? 

I know that a series of iMacs with retina display have problems on the video cards which leads to an overconsumption of the RAM. so less memory for applications.

I have 8GB on my macbook with an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB and I allocate only 2GB of ram to the video in consumption. 

There  are the 27-inch iMacs sold between 2011 and 2012 and equipped with an AMD Radeon HD 6970M that have corruption issues.

the iMac 24 white from 2006 have cards that heat up
