1°) I have lines or sides that are in light gray and others in Black. I would like for the dimensions I add, the axis lines, etc... let them also be in black.
Question: How to do it
2°) thinking to make my life easier for the subsequent creation of a documentation for the general public, I made 3D threads but impossible to rate them other than with a note. Question: Is it possible to have an automatic dimension as for the tapped holes made with the drilling wizard?
For the first point it is possible with layers, (right click in the menu bar > check layer) it is possible to change the color, thickness, style and visibility of lines, dimension, annotation, view....
For the dimensions, the best is to edit the document properties >expand dimensions >layer selection,
For the annotation of 3d threads I don't think that len can import the designation, personally I always side the diameter is the not plus the metric symbol,
Finally, as the part will be made in traditional turning, I left the 3D thread view and I put a note that indicates the thread to be made.
For the color differences (black or gray) I select all the dimensions in gray and with the 2 icons "line color" and "line thickness".
I haven't used a layer since the drawing board and since I haven't gone through autocad I don't use a layer in SW. I don't see the point with a 3D CAD like SW, but I don't know what layers could do for me to be honest. I see in the posts that these layers are mentioned.
