I do MEP and I would like to be able to put explanatory notes for my colleagues but that these notes are not displayed when exporting to PDF. Is it possible without tracing?

To my knowledge it is not possible without going through the layers. It is through them that the printing is managed or not.

You can place them around the MEP, so your colleagues will see them before printing and won't appear there.

Why not make a tracing? It's simple, you can pre-create them in the document templates and manage the fact that it is visible in print (PDF and paper) or not.

I also use this type of note "Internal BE" and I go through a non-printable layer.
Don't forget to incorporate it into your model so that it is common to all and in all your MEPs.
