I'm under sw2014. My welded parts tables do not display the lengths of the profiles.
There's something I did wrong I think but what?
Here are 2 explicit screenshots (rather than a long speech...) . If the forum's display settings hide part of the image: "right-click -> show in new tab/window" to see the entire image.
In my mep it's empty (length field not automatically completed):(I also didn't manage to remove the description field that I don't use)
And in my room it's empty too even though the data does exist (window "properties of the list of welded parts)a .I don't understand despite a lot of reading and tutorial visions :-( .
Thanks for the help :-)
Here is also a zip of the part files and the personal profile (at home it is stored in C:\ Program Files\ SolidWorks Corp\ SolidWorks\ lang\ French\ weldment profiles\ iso\ square tube\)
Hello, originally, the list of welded parts is incorrectly configured. Click on the Length column and in the manager itself, select Length. Save the table so you don't have to.
Well then it's progressing (thanks to your help) but I still have a problem. Bodies of my nomenclature are "mixed/confused" :-( .
image rather than long speech:
I have one of the spars that is numbered "2" when it should be a "3".
And on my rear "partial" crossbar in 3 pieces, (one large, 2 small at the ends) all my pieces have the same number (2) while the partial one exists in the nomenclature as the number "4" o_O .
Just remember to validate Yves.T as the best answer so that he helped you solve your problem so that you just have to click on the link at the bottom of his answer ^_^
I'm old school of forums, so I don't handle "+1s" and all that kind of stuff ^_^ well.
Question by the way, I still don't master the nomenclature well (there are things that I didn't manage in particular, easily setting up the columns of the table to make the name of the personal profile that corresponds to each part appear in the description column). And what would someone have a good tutorial (even a bit long or in English) that I can watch on occasion? I've watched a few of them already but they were very succinct and I didn't integrate everything.
