Hello
I often use the tutorials offered in SolidWorks. When I click on some icons outlined in orange, normally, SW would show me where the function was located in the menus. But now when I click, I get this error message:
Who knows how to solve this problem?
Thank you
Hello
Are you on a student license? You may be limited due to that.
No, it's not a student version.
It's an educational version. Before, it worked.
It's annoying for training, when trainees don't know how to find the right icons.
This forces me to show every time that it's a bit complicated to find.

Hello
You can try to locate and delete this file "swscripts.vbs" and run a SolidWorks repair (simple suggestion)!

Do you have this problem on a single workstation?
I specify that I am with the 2016 education version

Disabling the SolidWorks Forum add-in seems to be a solution for some (seen here )! In any case, your problem is not an isolated case.
I'm under 2016 too (not educ'), if I can ever transfer you my otcustomization.chm file

It's true that according to the forum, the error seems quite common.
Otherwise, I'm willing to get the otcustomization.chm file to try, just in case.
Thank you very much for your help in any case.

It didn't work to disable the SW forum add-on?

No, it didn't do anything to remove the forum.
