SolidWorks Bend Angle Measurement

Hi all

I've been trying to measure an angle on a bent sheet metal on SW for a while...

Thank you in advance for your answers

Hello

You have the "measure" tool which is specially designed to measure with virtually no limits.

Kind regards

PS: Tools ==> Measure But you have a keyboard shortcut (I put M  because I use it all the time dozens of times a day)   ;-)

Hello

I also use this tool but when I select two faces it gives me the perimeter and the area of them...

Hello

Do your two sides appear in the selection window of the "measure" tool?

Can you take a screenshot for us?

Kind regards

Good evening

In the measure tool there are different filters that allow you to have different information with the angle when it is two faces or two edges.

Be careful to enlarge the entire "measure" window because the corners are at the bottom of the window.

I was fooled once ;-)

Kind regards

Hello@Thibcapelli

I forgot to tell you that you can only have the measurement of an angle between two surfaces if they are in the same trigonometric environment. In other words, you need to have at least two parallel edges between the two surfaces.

But you know that of course ;-)

Hello

Personally I do Ctrl + the two faces or edges I want.

And the dimension or angle is displayed at the bottom right of the SW screen. (to the right of "Edit:Part")

Easy to use for simple use.
