Adding Colors to Welds - SolidWorks

Good evening

A quick question: Can we put colors to the new welds (since SW2011) as we could do with before?

Thank you

Hello

I'm on SW 2012 and I can change the color of the welds using the appearance tab as for the other functions. But the question is what do you mean by: "as we could do before"?

Have a nice day

In SW14, in "document properties / template display" you can choose a color to assign to each type of function. (I haven't tested)

For @Rim-b, I have attached what the welds I am talking about look like. These are not the old models defined as beads that could be colored at will.

For @stefbeno, I don't see where I can change the color of the welds

Thank you for your help

I'm on SW13 and indeed, I don't see any way to change this color by conventional means! :/

The cord appears to take on the color of one of the adjacent bodies, and apparently, the first in the history when both have a body color.

@stefbeno,

This option is for the "Fillet Weld Seams" functions (old function) which gives visible seams in the body weights, but has no effect on the "Weld Seams" functions... " (function since 2011) which gives a simple visible representation in the weld file.

Indeed I hadn't grasped the nuance (I don't use either of them) and besides, the "new" doesn't really work for me...

Oh ok! I didn't know this function, I even took a little time to find it, because I thought it was in a part file when you should be in an assembly.

I also couldn't find an option to change the color of this weld bead, but I'll keep looking a bit.

Edit: I said something stupid, this solder bead also exists in the parts: sorry!
