Rib Update

Hello

I have a very simple question, I was given the answer one day, but I don't remember...

When I modify a part in the 3D, when I reopen the Mep, often the attached ribs "move" from place.

I'm in sheet metal work

I think there is an option to tick off to keep them anchored.

Hello Bart,

An answer that may not be related, but are you really flattening?

Because according to your plan, the top side doesn't look "straight":

Hello

I propose this question, where the so-called Bart answered well:

Otherwise, see here:

Or here:

Keywords to find this question:

@Aurélien: The room does not necessarily have 90° angles.

Was it even me who gave the answer? So now, I have to take care of myself! ^^

Yes Aurélien, the piece is not squarely unfolded, because folded, the piece has slopes.

Ok ok :) I was saying that as a lead just in case....

Well, actually, it doesn't answer my question...

It's not the alignment that bothers me, it's more the fact that I place a rib on my unfolded or other and that when I modify my 3d, the ribs move and get put a little bit anywhere, while remaining well anchored on the lines to be sided.

In fact, I think you were talking about one of these two options, in "Tools > Options > System Options > Drawings":

Allow automatic updates when opening drawings.

http://help.solidworks.com/2014/french/solidworks/sldworks/t_control_update_behavior_of_views.htm

Or:

Reduce the spacing when removing or changing dimensions (adding or changing tolerances, text, etc.).

http://help.solidworks.com/2015/french/solidworks/sldworks/hidd_options_drawings_general.htm

That we find both here:

I think that's it.

I checked the box "reduce the space.... "

it seems to work...

Thank you Lucas!
