Normally when you request the update from the install manager, it offers to load the latest version.

It all depends on whether you have purchased the license and as it was said, you should get messages from the installation manager for the update.

As said, if you have the license for the transition to 2016, there are no worries.
In fact, you are entitled to SPs for the entire duration of your maintenance. So if it is still in progress, you are entitled to the last SP ... if it stopped in March for example, you will be entitled to the current MS at that time. :)

I've never understood why, when you buy software, you don't necessarily have it complete in the end.
Your maintenance contract ends just before SP5 and your company doesn't want to take over a contract? Too bad, your software will always be buggy... (exasperation)
