Complex surface flattening

Hello

I enjoyed the tutorial on flattening a complex surface.

I have just tried to adapt to this approach.

By creating a boundary surface and then adding a thickness, I end up with a skin of part of my gorilla's leg.

Is it possible to reproduce this technique with adjacent surfaces that will allow you to obtain a flat by selecting an edge?

I am waiting for an opinion on the viability of this technique to be deployed, it represents a significant amount of time.

Thank you for your possible help.

Yes c possible

You have to portion the faces, being careful that these faces do not overlap

so division into X pieces

Thank you very much GT22,

I'm going to work on a leg and make it in several pieces so that it is then connected by soldering TIG.Je validates my approach which only exists by sharing this tutorial.

I understand the superimposition phenomenon, I'm going to make sure I don't make mistakes.

Have a nice day.
