I come to you, because I can't find a solution to my problem despite various tries.
In concrete terms, it is a thick fabric that is cut flat as best as possible to enclose a work tool for the purpose of depositing product on a surface.
I would like, with the help of the function of the solidworks software, to succeed in flattening this shape like a sheet metal piece in order to create a flat plane that would serve as a fabric cutting pattern.
I don't mind creating 2 cutouts (in the corners) to make the flattening successful.
But I didn't succeed.
Do you have a solution to my problem?
My SOLIDWORKS file is attached if you ever want to try something.
Doing this in one piece doesn't seem realistic to me. I would build this with the sheet metal module. Stitching along the entire length of the circular edge and one of the perpendicular edges.
