Ferrule flattening

Hello

I have a slight problem with inventor and I can't do a flat outing.

As an attachment the part I want to flatten, it was created with autocad and then exported in .sat.

I have no problem opening it with inventor and converting it to sheet metal, where it gets stuck is that it is impossible for me to define the A side and that if I simply have it created flattened, my ferrule remains as it is.

Could you help me please?

Moloko.

Thank you I already have this link, it says to indicate the A side first, no matter how much I click on the button define the A side, I can't choose any side of this room...

I solved the problem in the following way:

After importing, I immediately converted the part into sheet metal.

I set the sheet metal ruler and the material.

I place a median plane between the two ferrule openings and a point perpendicular to the latter.

Then I can set the A side.
