Hello

For the drawing in the "Inventor" software I would like to display the basic stop of a leave and not the leave itself!

 

Could someone explain to me how to do it please?

For me, you don't make something appear that no longer exists, so can we take time off to remove matter.

If I understand correctly, in general for this kind of thing I create a sketch on my view, I project all my lines and I redraw the lines that no longer exist to symbolize them.

I think there has to be a function to do what I want.

 

Yes, when I take the leave, there is no more material. but there must be a solution to make the edge on which we made the leave appear in order to the rib, right?

Because my finished piece will have a holiday. But to make this leave I need the basic stop.

Do you know what I mean?

Hello

When dimensioning, to show the two basic edges of the leave, you must:

Click on dimension/click on the first edge/right-click/select intersection/click on the second edge/click on another line.
