Drawing with "SOLIDWORKS" Gas Thread

Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to automatically display the value of the gas thread (e.g. G1/8A) on a drawing instead of the metric value (e.g. Ø9.728), the value I used to build my sketch.

I specify that for this part (a fitting), I have configured a "family of parts" because there are several dimensions (from G1/8A to G1"1/2).

Thanks in advance ;-)

Are they holes or male threads?

Hello

To make the thread annotation appear in the MEP, you have to right-click on the thread representation (3/4 of a circle) and select insert a symbol... 11:40 a.m.

See for a tap

GB Standard

Threaded hole for piping

size G1/8

Thank you for your responsiveness,

In fact it's a male thread, so I don't go through the drill wizard.

So it's possible by replacing the text by hand in the 3D function or in the 2D annotation, but not automatically.

Ok, but there's no way to do it automatically?

No automatism, just do as I wrote in the previous post
