I use in my project assemblies, "standard/library" Solidworks parts that have their own drawings, and which are located in a special folder.
I would like to know how to make it so that: when I use one of these parts in my project assembly, I can output in PDF all the drawings adjoining these "standard / library" parts and this of course in a +/- automatic way.
I guess you just have to attach the drawings to the standard part, and use a utility but how?
We work in the same way except that the drawings are in the same folder as the parts for a question of link. We sort by type so that the drawings are separated from the parts. In the configuration we are using, it is easier to generate this action to make PDFs in bulk.
But you can also do that, but you'll need to select the folder and select the MEPs you want to convert.
Hello, as PL says, with BatchConverter, you can by selecting your assembly, bring up all your parts.
In the filters, you have to select the formats that should go up (parts, assemblies, plan).
if your plans are in the same folders as the rooms. In the options, you have to choose: "search in the parts or assemblies folder".
RQ: You just have to be careful that your parts are in the current SW format, because sometimes if it's an old version, BatchConverter doesn't reassemble them.
Edit: Once you have reassembled your parts, assemblies, don't forget to click on the icon: insert the MEPs of the selected documents.
