Vectorized PDF drawing

Hi all

A subcontractor asked me for a drawing (solidworks 2018) in PDF vectorize!!!! Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you in advance.

Michael

I am afraid I do not fully understand the question

If you need to vectorize a pdf

See this link

http://help.solidworks.com/2013/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/t_Converting_Sketch_Pictures_to_Vector_Data.htm

If it's for an sw plan you just have to make a dxf recording

Or do a test, the pdf is often vectorized, this is particularly the case on inskape and other software. A pdf saved by solidworks might also do the trick.

If not, what is the purpose of this vectorization?

Hello, I think that SolidWorks by default should create a vector pdf of the drawing (like CATIA).

A simple test is to open the pdf (Acrobat reader or Inkscape) and zoom in if the lines remain lines (circle) it's a vector, if the lines smudge broken (Pixelated) it's not a vector.

However, the software (CorelDraw, or other) that will proofread this vector pdf can have a different interpretation, we often encounter the case of representations in the form of a rectangle of a simple line
