Drawing - Notes/Balloons

Hello

When drawing, I want to put a note or bubble with the name of each assembly, (not a number and a nomenclature), how do I make a note in your library with a parameter like "first-level assembly"?

I have already succeeded but it must have been a bug because when I reopened, the notes changed to the names of the rooms...

Thank you

by modifying this can be: $PRPMODEL:"SW-File Name"

But what to put for an assembly?

see this link it may be able to help you ;-)

@GT22: Don't understand the connection between your answer and the question...?

@deflandre.geoffrrey_1: Maybe by going through a nomenclature?

See my tutorial site on Properties:

Thank you for your answers.

@ Philippe, I would like to put the name of the 1st level assemblies via bubbles and not via a nomenclature (on very large drawings, this one takes a long time)

It's more visual for the workshop for an implementation.

But in the basic properties of balloons, there is only "file name" or the name of the part, yet it must be found since in the nomenclature it works.

Hello

Nothing prevents you from putting the BOM outside the sheet.

In order for SW to recover the data, it needs a source. For bubbles, it's a nomenclature.

Kind regards.

Hello Yves,

In the case of a nomenclature, I get reference numbers and not the names of my assemblies, unless there is a solution like that.

Inserting bubbles with part numbers

To insert balloons with part numbers from the BOM :

  1. In a drawing, click Insert > Annotations > Balloon.

    The Bubble PropertyManager appears.

  2. Under Balloon Settings, click Balloon Text, and then click Part Number (BOM).
  3. Set the options.
  4. Click in the graphics area to place the balloon.
  5. Continue adding bubbles and then click PM_OK.gif when you're done.

To insert balloons with the file name, follow the same procedure and then click File Name instead of Part Number (BOM) under Balloon Text.

File Name displays the name of the file without the extension.

GT22 has given you the answer to your question. If you don't follow it, you can search for a long time because there is no other :)

It works via a bubble and not via a note, on the other hand if you don't have a nomenclature chosen in the 1st level only, it shows you the name of the part and not the name of the sub-assembly in question...
