Hello
Is it possible in a drawing of an assembly to make transparent an envelope part and only it, a can as under SolidEdge for reference parts?
Thank you.

Hello
What do you call an envelope piece? Are you talking about the "envelope" option available in the properties of the component in an assembly, or a component that gives you your envelope, your footprint?
If it's to make a component of an assembly "transparent" at the wireframe level, look at this conversation, it mentions several possibilities such as the "other position view" or a local cut: http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/solidworks/rendre-une-piece-transparente-en-filaire-dans-une-mise-en-plan
Hello
Unfortunately, solidworks does not have the same function as solidedge for reference parts and it's a shame!
As Benoit.LF says, you have to use the configurations (view, other position) to get the same effect.
Have a nice day
Hello
Yes in the options you can put the envelopes in transparency (see image), remember to use the search in the options you quickly find what you need.

@coyote, I may have an option incorrectly checked on SW, but what you indicate only acts at the assembly level, but in a drawing, the parts defined as an "envelope" remain hidden.
@Benoit.LF in the drawing view, go to the properties and check see envelope
Hello,
@Coyote indeed I looked carefully in the options before sending my question.
However, it is not in the assembly that I want to act, but in the drawing.
Hello
I'm curious to know why my answer deserved a -1?
