SolidWorks Drawing Cutting Issue (SW 2019 Sp5)

Hi all

I am currently making factory plans where I have to make ISO views of certain premises. The problem is that I can't make a cross-sectional view of a given room.

I tried different ways:

- make different cuts on several frames but either it is impossible to turn the cut view, or the part is not cut enough.

-make a cut directly in the assembly, save the section view and try to put it back in the drawing, but the latter does not take into account the cut

You will find attached an image of what I would like to have in the drawing.

Hello

 

Have you tried to make a classic cut (from the front or from the top for example) and right click on it and "iso section view".

Remember that in the options of your iso view you can choose which objects are affected by the cut. (in your case choose only the walls of the room)

 

NB: there is the possibility to return to 2D view via the same "Remove iso view" menu
