Hello
I have a problem that is not easy to explain, I made a sheet metal part with solidworks with the right bend loss setting for the thickness of aluminum and the properties of my bending machine, everything works well, on the other hand when I have 2 bends that "follow" each other how can I indicate the dimension of the stop that will be on the first folded face?
In my attachment I have the dimensions in red which correspond to my first bend and those in blue which correspond to the second bend (if the first one is not made) on the other hand the dimension of 26.70 does not correspond to the dimension of the stop of my second bend because I have my sheet thickness to take into account.
I hope I have been clear in the concern I encounter.
Kind regards

Hello
On the same Vé you have to put two stops, one for the first bend and another for the second ply.
NC bending machines have a single stop but move it constantly according to the order of the folds.
Kind regards
Hello zozo_mp the 2 stops I put them on solidworks?
Hello
For a second fold, you just have to add the thickness because it is added when the first fold is made. If you are ribbing in this way and if your bending operator has experience, he will not make a mistake because it is bending logic.

Good evening @Stephane_5
A doubt takes hold of me!
Is it to make your folds in SW that you ask the question?
Kind regards
if you want to make plans based on reality; You will need to create unfolded configurations with folded folds. a flat configuration for the 1st fold in red then a second one with the 1st fold folded and the rating of the second fold will be done with the thickness in addition , i.e. 26.7+1.5=28.2 because I deduce that it's 1.5mm.

thank you for your answers,
@zozo_mp I try to put the bending dimensions on the plan so that the bending machine operator enters the right values to have a bent part at the right dimensions
@ac cobra 427 yes it's 1.5, I'll try this solution
Sorry for this late answer but I didn't have too much time to see with the workshop, the solution of adding the thickness of the sheet metal to the rib seems to work.
Thank you for your answers
