Drawing

Hello

In an assembly, I created a part that represents a volume
When drawing I would like this part to be transparent but to see the outline dotted

I found a solution that I don't know.
I create a configuration in which I put this part in the deleted state.
In the drawing, I use the "view from another position" function.
This allows me to have the piece in dotted lines but not in the sectional views or perspectives

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Good evening

Why not create a 3D sketch of your "cube"?

Either you redraw it entirely and delete your part, or you use this part to redraw the edges (I believe that converting sketch entities does not work to 3D sketching).

So in your drawing, you display this 3D sketch that you can see in all your standard views, sections, details,...

Hello

A priori the other position view exists for 3D views too:

Thank you for these answers but the result does not meet my expectations in any case:
- the 3D sketch will be visible in a section with all the strokes. In case it's not a cube it won't fit
- view from another position does not work in a cut

So I started with a 3D sketch (@Benoit.LF, the conversion of entities works in 3D sketches) and I created a mechanically welded part with a square of very small size 0.01mm

it's not perfect because we have 2 very close lines but for lack of anything better...
