3D modeling of stair stringer

Hello

 

I am a technician I am looking to make a model of a revolving staircase  with steps and risers with notched stringer with solidworks.

I can do the 3D sketch without any problem! but I want to extrude in material (surface or sheet metal) to then consult in developed I find a problem ....

Be sure to offer me a solution to do what I want and thank you in advance

can you put the sketch in the post because a sketch does not convert to STEP (it is not a volume)..

Draw the silt curve from above

 

Apply a base sheet metal the height of the stairs.

 

Then make a cut of the shape of the stringer and then you can unfold it to have its development

Hello 

I don't know soliworks, I work with Inventor.

But I would make my full stringer (wood or metal) following your trajectory and I would then make construction plans for the step notches and thus make the rack
