Feature works module

Hello, I think there is a module that allows function recognition and thus convert files not from solidworks into "native" files, in order to work with them.

Can you tell me if it's a paid module or integrated into Soliworks, knowing that I'm on SW2012 Standard.

open the "Import 3D" PRT part, then do:

Insert / FeatureWorks / Recognize...

It talks about opening your part and then doing insert==>Featurworks and recognizing the functions...

you won't have featureworks on standard 2012 ;-(

you need the pro or premium

Hello

I'm resuming this thread because I need a faster alternative to a reconstruction by filled surfaces to generate an editable model of a propeller to validate my simulation in FLOW. See my screenshot of the model worked.

At the base a STEP so a graphic block. By activating the import of the STEP (import multiple bodies as parts).

Everything is ok except the blades, it requires to go through manual mode............... Is anyone familiar with this FEATUREWORKS add-on.
