This can be done with a surface finish from the appearances tab of the Property Manager as shown here: http://help.solidworks.com/2011/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/AllContent/SolidWorks/Core/Display/Appearances/HIDD_DVE_MATERIALS_SURFACE_FINISH.htm
Or by applying an apprence: Miscellaneous/Pattern/Embossing
