I was working under Solid 2016 and mycad2016 and when I updated Solid for the 2018 version and mycad2017 my automatic counter no longer works and I can't change it.

It is strongly advised for production to switch to the new version before SP2 or 3 at least.
The best would be to take a ticket from the support because few people have taken the plunge towards 2018 and even fewer who are also familiar with Mycad tools.

After starting a ticket I was advised to reinstall Solid 2017 and the counter works properly again.
