Mycadlibraries - Partcommunity

Hi all.

I go through the mycadlibraries - partcommunity library to insert components from the providers.

I am working with solidworks 2017 and I cannot directly insert my components with the "direct integration" system.

I can't choose solidworks 2017, the list of choices is from 2011 to 2016.

The 2017 version does not exist or do we need to update?

Thank you for your answers.

Have a nice day

Padlocks often have a offset version because they are not to be used with SW SP5s (suposition).

The direct integration requires a time on the pc so to check that the hard disk has space and personally I prefer to go through a save under so I limit the use of my RAM if it is already used by the opening of a large assembly.

So in 2016 recorded on the disc and then recording in the assembly with the right ref and the right properties avoids any surprises

Hello

If you have access to myCADtools, you can drag the CADENAS components directly into your assembly from SW.

Hello everyone and thank you for your answers.

I have access to mycadtools on my workstation but I cannot insert CADENAS components into my assemblies. We need administrator rights on workstations and for security reasons our company's IT specialist cannot give them to us...... sniffff.

We will continue to download the components one by one and one, just like in the good old days.... Laughing out loud.

Have a good day everyone!!

PS: is there a way to install the CADENAS library on my workstation?

@ oherbreteau  , I don't know if you can have a padlock directly on a workstation but for example E Maurin installs a library managed by Cadenas,

maybe a hack could open to other supplier!
