MYCADTOOL creating a custom property with a global variable

Hi all.

I want to be able to create a custom property using the MYCADTOOL add-ins that would be set to a global variable contained in my part file.

Do you have any idea of the feasibility of the thing? If so, what steps should be taken??

Thank you in advance

Hello

Do you have an example of the file name and variable you want to get.
Otherwise, use the MyCadTools Integration tool.
You can get the filename that you can manipulate simply with some condition.

What type of global variable, in what form in the file, with which utility MYCADTOOL (Samrtproperties?)

A small concrete example is often better than a big blah blah. The more specific the question, the more targeted the answers will be.

Concretely, I want to automatically create the Accessory Qty. property present in this file.

Knowing that the latter is attached to a global variable present in the equation manager.

Thank you in advance

Kind regards.

if I understood correctly:
- Do you auto-add a property to your files (Line 26)?
- and add a value to the link to another property of another file?

IF yes, use the Integration tool with the following configuration

Be careful, valid if the source is always the same file.
All you have to do is select the file(s) to update and run the tool.

This is my problem, each personal property depends on the file in which it is entered.

So its address varies with each file processed.
