Level of detail on Inventor 2014

Hello

Having a large installation to carry out (equipment + building + piping + civil engineering... In short, a lot of things!!) On an assembly, I would like to change my levels of detail.

I create a new substitute and an envelope. A window opens: Envelope options for the set

After several tries, I find myself with larger files...

Does anyone have any help, an example, a procedure to follow, so that I can then insert my equipment into my overall plan so that my PC does not lag and that the plan does not take 20 years to be realized.

Thank you for your help.

Have I applied a glue??? :)

Hello

I found it http://cadxp.com/topic/15945-alleger-des-fichiers/

Hello

Here are some tips from AutoDesk for managing large assemblies:

Well, it still lasts 49 minutes, so I imagine that there are a lot of interesting things!

I think the best is to do it in several steps

Simplify for assembly

and high definition for the inner parts so X configues

if you have fun putting all the nuts on the parts

No logs will follow

You have to go through derivative parts that come from assembly to minimize as much as possible

no nuts, bolts etc...

Hello

I messed up for the best answer... (Monday morning)....

It's good for the right person but it's  for the answer with the video that was the best answer.

Before this message I had only posted one reply!

Now the forum displays the best answer 2 times: just below the question, and the same identical answer in the thread.

So a priori, no problem:)
