For me, there is no limitation in the coding of files under EPDM.

C the MAX number of digits you are looking for?
Personally I have file names between 6 and 15 digits, and it works very well. I think the limitation must be quite high, but I don't know exactly.
If not, can you specify your search?

To date, there is no E-PDM and the parts are coded by family and then by function.8 digits exist.
Tomorrow with the E-PDM, I would not like to find myself blocked by a problem of codification.
Is 12 digit supported under SW E-PDM?

Yes, definitely.
In our company we manage more than 20 digits without any worries...
You can go without any problems
